The Office of Undergraduate Admission is seeking current undergraduates to help in recruiting Hispanic students to Georgia Tech.

Applications are now open for the Hispanic Recruitment Team (HRT), a group that works closely with Undergraduate Admission. Team members play an important role in the recruitment process by helping prospective Hispanic students connect with students on campus who can share stories about life at Tech.

“I enjoy devoting time to HRT because I’m able to directly impact the lives of high school students from different parts of the world,” said Mariana Arcaraz, co-president of the group. “I can share my experiences and really show the great things Georgia Tech has to offer.”

HRT members participate in three to four events per semester, including tailgates and other socials with prospective students, mingling with visitors in the admission office, and calling and email campaigns.

The deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 10. Students who are interested in sharing their time and Tech spirit should contact Kevin Gonzalez at kevin.gonzalez@admission.gatech.edu.
