Summaries

Summary Sentence: Join the LGBTQIA Resource Center for a tour of 5 LGBTQ organizations in the Atlanta area.

Full Summary:

Join the LGBTQIA Resource Center for a tour of 5 LGBTQ organizations in the Atlanta area.

The LGBTQIA Resource Center's inaugural Queer Atlanta Bus Tour is designed to connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual students and allies with LGBTQIA resources in the Atlanta area.

We'll stop at the Rush Center to meet with staff from Georgia Equality, Atlanta Pride, and the Health Initiative, then we'll head to Charis Books and More in Little 5 Points to meet the Executive Director of Charis Circle, a social justice non-profit serving Atlanta, and finish up the tour at the Trans Health Initiative near Decatur. Staff at each organization will talk to us about what their organization does, how you can get involved, and how can they serve you. All currently-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to register at http://lgbtqia.gatech.edu/content/61/queer-atlanta-bus-tour.
