Georgia Tech will send a delegation of international and returned study abroad students to represent Georgia Tech at the Georgia International Leadership Conference (GILC). These students will spend the weekend networking with their peers from other Georgia colleges and universitites and attending sessions focusing on leadership development.
GILC is a conference that brings together colleges and universities from around the state of Georgia and has an annual attendance of around 200 students. Fifteen students will serve as the Georgia Tech delegation and these students will run a cultural simulation for all attendees.
Interactive workshops presented by students will cover topics such as leadership styles, collaboration and conflict management, communication and interacting with diverse individuals, and integration of different cultures.
