As summer approaches, parents may be seeking child care or camp opportunities for when school lets out. The Campus Recreation Center offers one option with its Tech Wreck Camps.
These summer day camps are offered for rising first through eighth graders with a parent who is a Tech faculty member, staff member, or student. Campers participate in a variety of activities based on the themes of challenge, recreation, and community.
The camp is offered in eight, one-week sessions during June and July, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The registration fee of $195 per child, per week, includes lunch and an afternoon snack.
Dates include:
Registration opens Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at crc.gatech.edu/summercamp.
Other campus departments host summer camps that include educational themes or components. The Office of Human Resources will host a Summer Camp Information Expo on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. The expo will have information about camps taking place both on campus and in the surrounding metro Atlanta area.
