There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) has recognized the Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF) and program partner Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) with a 2014 Georgia STEM Award. SSEF and GTRI were chosen out of 200 entries for their 2014 STEM Event and Outreach Program in Energy that reached over 3,000 students and community members. The program is designed to inspire students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The next STEM event is in February.
The annual Georgia STEM Education Awards recognize schools, programs, and companies for outstanding efforts and achievements in supporting and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Education in Georgia. This year’s finalists were chosen from applicants from across the state in eight different categories.
