There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Between 2012 and 2050, the number of Americans age 65 or older is predicted to nearly double from 43.1 million to 83.7 million, according to a U.S. Census report published this month. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimatesthat the country's graying demographics, combined with greater accessibility to healthcare under the Affordable Care Act, will lead to a rise in demand for care services for the elderly. Who will take care of all these Americans in their twilight years?
