On Wednesday, May 21 in New York City CGE, in cooperation with the International Academy of Management (IAM), sponsored a special program on Managing in the Era of Globalization and Transparency. Renowned experts from business, academia, foundations, and the media gathered to discuss leading topics confronting today’s global managers. The changing nature of the corporation, measuring organizational capital, the efficacy of business school education, identifying diverse talent for boards of directors, and the critical role trust plays in contemporary management framed the day’s discussions. Participants from across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East convened to challenge convention thinking and identify areas of future research and deliberation. The program is part of CGE’s commitment to advancing the dialogue on the globally integrated economy, the management science of contemporary business, and the changing structure of the enterprise.
