There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Rome’s medical community has been a pioneer in the field of electronic medical records. The MyJourney Compass project, a partnership involving researchers at Georgia Tech and practitioners and patients in the Rome area, has taken records-sharing to a whole new level.
G.P. “Bud” Peterson, president of Georgia Institute of Technology, joined health care practitioners, patients and politicians at Redmond Regional Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon to review the project, funded by a $1.7 million Challenge Grant from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
