Georgia lawmakers could introduce legislation this winter that would trigger research and development in a technology that promises to revolutionize transportation.
The Peach State could become the fifth state to make self-driving cars street-legal. By opening up its roads and highways to self-driving cars, Georgia could tap jobs and investment from a growing ecosystem of tech companies and automakers that are developing autonomous driving technologies.
