There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Thursday Think Tank is a weekly opportunity to hear informal presentations of Georgia Tech’s research, network with colleagues, and enjoy refreshments and camaraderie. Listen to a short presentation, then discuss and brainstorm.
IPaT will host a panel consisting of a diverse set of interesting people with a large social media following who also have authentic knowledge and information about the Atlanta community. They have been collaborating with GT researchers on the Midtown Buzz project, creating authentic rich information to seed a variety of mobile experiences. We have invited them to the Thursday Think Tank to meet other members of the GT community, to help us brainstorm about opportunities in civic computing, and to seed new collaborative efforts.
