When discussing the World Wide Web, one of the fundamental questions asked by communication specialists is: How do we design messages within this medium of communication that appeal to audiences in particular contexts? This workshop is designed to address this question and provide knowledge and an overview of the skills necessary for creating a professional online presence using effective communication strategies and new web publishing technologies. The workshop will draw heavily from websites created by Georgia Tech graduate students from various academic disciplines.
