The University of Pennsylvania has 12-month post-doctoral research fellowships available with lead faculty in vibrant new research centers and adjoining labs [July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016]. The fellowships are supported through the:
CDC-funded Penn Injury Science Center
Penn Urban Health Lab (www.urbanhealthlab.org)
Penn Space-Time Epidemiology Group (www.spacetimeepi.net)
We offer a stimulating, productive and unique university environment in which trainees will gain first-hand experience in conducting research about location and enacting place-based change to improve the health and safety of cities.
Post-doctoral fellows are expected to collaborate on research publications and grant submissions with faculty directors in epidemiology, nursing and criminology. There will be opportunities to collaborate with scientists across the university in the areas of public health, city planning, social science, geography, medicine and nursing, depending on individual interests.
A stipend plus benefits is included along with a travel allowance to present research results at one or more conferences.
