There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The 2015 ASPPH Annual Meeting is March 22-25 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The theme of the meeting is Framing the Future: A New Paradigm for Academic Public Health. During the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with peers, engage with thought leaders, and reflect on the exciting future for academic public health. We hope you can join us!
Information on registration and housing is now available and can be found here. There is no registration fee for representatives from ASPPH-member institutions. There is a registration fee for non-members.
The opening plenary speaker is Ms. Gwen Ifill, moderator and managing editor of Washington Week and co-anchor and managing editor for the PBS Newshour. Ms. Ifill’s address is titled, “Politics, Policy, and Reality: What’s Really Going on in Washington.” Additional speakers and the draft agenda can be found on the event page.
The meeting will include multiple opportunities to network with your colleagues and share your experiences. In addition, the Welch-Rose Award, ASPPH/Pfizer Awards, and ASPPH Student Services Award will be presented during a luncheon ceremony.
