First Day to Submit Summer OPT Requests to OIE

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This is the first day that students who plan on working during the summer semester may submit an OPT e-form to OIE. Students who will graduate this spring semester (May) and undergraduate students interested in participating in an internship during summer should apply to OIE now.

Before submitting an e-form to OIE, students should review the appropriate OPT tutorial on OIE's website at oie.gatech.edu/opt. If you have additional questions after reviewing the tutorial and OPT website, please send any questions to info@oie.gatech.edu or come to see an international student advisor during walk-in advising hours.

Walk-in advising hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
8:30-11:30 and 1:30-4:30
