Karen HeadDr. Head, who is Director of the Comm Lab in Clough, learned about MOOCs by participating in one of the first massive open online courses in 2012-13. As part of the Georgia Tech team awarded a Gates Foundation grant to develop a MOOC on first-year writing, she has published several other articles on the experience.
This issue of the Journal of General Education: A Curricular Commons of the Humanities and Sciences focuses on MOOCs and includes six aritcles on the innovation.
