Dr. Brian Woodall spoke at the Third International Educational Forum on Energy and Environmental Science held in Perth from December 12-17.  The Forum – which was co-sponsored by Tokyo Tech and the University of Western Australia – brought together international specialists in a range of energy- and environment-related fields, including solar cell and fuel cell technologies, nuclear and material science, social scientific approaches to environment and energy, and issues relating to global, regional, and urban environment.  In addition, IAST Ph.D. student Yujia He participated in the Forum and presented her research findings on China’s policies for rare earths. 

Dr. Woodall recently published his book, Growing Democracy in Japan: The Parliamentary Cabinet System since 1868.
