There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of Postdoctoral Services and the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) are pleased to offer a 14-session teaching workshop for postdoctoral scholars. The workshop is intended for postdocs who are planning a career as a faculty member in higher education, enjoy teaching, and want to take their teaching to the next level. We will focus on the knowledge and skills necessary for effective classroom instruction and management in higher education, including: educational psychology, lesson planning, delivery techniques, assessment, and course design.
