There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Project One Committee and the Center for Academic Enrichment invite the entire Georgia Tech community to provide suggestions for helping us select the readings for the class of 2019.
While we've chosen single books in the past, students will be creating a collective project (e.g., each student create a very short film based on a short story and we have a student film festival).
TOPICS OF INTEREST THIS YEAR:
-- Sustainability
-- Community Engagement
-- Resilience
-- The Environment
-- Energy
-- Technology and Activism
For a history of the program, please see http://enrichment.gatech.edu/project-one
Project One begins in the summer when new students receive the short readings (readings broadly means all things media, like videos, websites, music, etc.). Students will get access to an interactive website where they will see how to create a profile and introduce themselves to each other, and then will be asked to share a response to the “readings”.
The goal is to for students to see how the amazing Yellow Jackets who will become their community, and for students to get a taste of the interdisciplinary and creative possibilities that await them. Faculty and student leaders will join the first-years in the online discussions that will then be put together into discussion groups when they arrive on campus. A keynote speaker and a competition will be included as well.
