Lecture and panel discussion featuring Dr. Gönül Tol (founding director of the Middle East Institute’s Center for Turkish Studies, and Dr. Jarrod Hayes with Dr. Lawrence Rubin, Faculty at the Georgia Tech Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
Dr. Taspinar is an expert in Turkey, the European Union, Muslims in Europe, political Islam, the Middle East, and Kurdish nationalism. He is a professor at the National War College, an adjunct professor at John Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and a Bookings Institute Fellow.
