Georgia Tech student leaders interested in leadership, cross-cultural communication, and meeting student leader peers from across the state of Georgia are encouraged to apply to be a part of the GT delegation at the annual Georgia International Leadership Conference. This conference will bring together over 200 international and returned study abroad students from universities around the state of for a weekend of cross-cultural training, leadership development, and team-building.

When: Friday, February 27th – Sunday, March 1st, 2015 
Where: Rock Eagle, Georgia
Conference Activities
  • Cross-cultural communication and team-building activities
  • International talent show
  • Presentations from student leaders on leadership styles around the world, collaboration and conflict management, integrating U.S. and international students on campus, and much more
  • Social activities each evening, giving you an opportunity to meet other student leaders from around Georgia
 
GILC participants are encouraged to submit a conference session proposal. Past topics have included: responsibility of a global citizen, developing an international student organization, team building, business etiquette in different cultures, challenging stereotypes, presentation of research done in class or abroad, etc. GT GILC advisors will review proposals and offer suggestions so you can feel confident for your presentation.
