There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Online courses like MOOcs introduce challenging new paradigms regarding classical pedagogy, which include all aspects of public education. The worldwide collaboratve learning experience not only builds new relationships in the world, but also leads to the emergence of very broad, questions on the fate of this digital revolution. These questions will be discussed in a Franco-American perspective, with participants of the two countries coming from the academic world and from the technical and business ones.
