There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Division of Student Affairs will host a Multicultural Competence (MC) workshop with Dr. Amy Reynolds Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Ferst Center for the Arts. Based off this new book, Creating Multicultural Change on Campus, this workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss multicultural competence in general, but also allow time to break into groups, drill down and identify the specific MC competence (awareness, knowledge, and skills) necessary to do our jobs effectively. An opportunity to reflect on what we have learned about multicultural competence will close the workshop, with dialogue about how we each impact the journey moving forward.
