Summary Sentence: Division of Student Affairs Multicultural Competence Workshop

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

The Division of Student Affairs will host a Multicultural Competence (MC) workshop with Dr. Amy Reynolds Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Ferst Center for the Arts. Based off this new book, Creating Multicultural Change on Campus, this workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss multicultural competence in general, but also allow time to break into groups, drill down and identify the specific MC competence (awareness, knowledge, and skills) necessary to do our jobs effectively.  An opportunity to reflect on what we have learned about multicultural competence will close the workshop, with dialogue about how we each impact the journey moving forward.
