There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Claire Batten (center), a student from Newnan and peer leader in Housing, invited two of her international residents to Thanksgiving at her family’s home last year. “Instead of remaining on campus without any sense of family, they got to spend time with a family that was eager to meet and learn about them,” Batten said. Her guests helped dress the turkey, learned about Thanksgiving, and even had the experience of holidays with a pet dog.
