There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech will be moving from Zimbra as our email service provider to Office 365. At this point the plan is to migrate to the new system the weekend of Fall graduation. To prepare for this migration you can watch an instructional video on the Outlook Web App (OWA) by visiting: http://www.lynda.com/Office-tutorials/Exploring-OWA-interface/149121/160595-4.html?autoplay=true
During the migration, users will be able to access both Zimbra and Outlook. Once the migration has completed, Zimbra will not receive any new mail. You will however be able to access it for roughly a month from the migration date.
Want to get a head start to make the transition process easier? View this pre-migration check list. http://b.gatech.edu/office365prechecklist
If you have questions about this migration, please contact someone on the Division IT Team - Jonathan Swaby, John Zwirblis or Scott Riggle.
