Join him in Room 114 of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A light lunch will be served. The presentation is part of the 2014 Manufacturing Lunch Seminar Series.
Georgia Tech is a founding network node for the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program, which aims to develop scientific and engineering discoveries into useful technologies, products and processes.
The I-Corps program connects NSF-funded scientific research with the technological, entrepreneurial and business communities to help create a stronger innovation ecosystem that couples scientific discovery with technology development and societal needs. Leveraging experience and guidance from established entrepreneurs and a targeted curriculum, I-Corps attendees learn to identify valuable product opportunities that can emerge from academic research.
Dr. McGreggor describes himself as a serial entrepreneur, having founded or co-founded six software companies, with a track record of commercial success. He is a globally recognized leader in entrepreneurial education and incubator development.
He has extensive, deep technical expertise in computer science, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, graphics, user interface development, operating system architecture, commercial software development, and robotics. He also has a strong, proven engineering leadership background and high-level customer communication skills. He holds PhD, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
