GT and the Student Startup: What’s New?
Abstract:
There is significant and growing interest among undergraduate and graduate students in taking their ideas and developing them to where they could form the basis for a successful startup. Georgia Tech has responded to this interest with new courses and other opportunities to encourage and enable would-be student entrepreneurs. This talk will briefly describe these efforts and address any student questions.
Speaker Bio:
Professor Vito is a successful inventor and founder of two medical device companies. He worked with others on initiating the InVenture Prize, GTRIC, and courses intended to help students who choose to pursue entrepreneurship at Georgia Tech.
