No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. PROJECT HORSESHOE FARM: THE HORSESHOE FARM FELLOWSHIP
From its founding in 2007, Project Horseshoe Farm in Greensboro, Alabama has worked closely with the community. Project Horseshoe Farm was founded on the idea that we must come together as communities around our strengths to meet the needs of our children, seniors, and adults with mental illness.
The Horseshoe Farm Fellowship offers an intensive community based “gap year” service and leadership development program for top recent college graduates from around the nation. Since its launch in 2009, the pioneering program has attracted top students interested in nonprofit leadership, social entrepreneurship, and community based service leadership, particularly those interested in developing and leading new community based approaches in medicine, healthcare, and education. This unique program aims to help prepare promising students for discerning and effective community based service
