The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), through funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Environmental Health, Healthy Community Design Initiative (CDC/NCEH/HCDI), is pleased release an opportunity to build state and territorial health agency capacity to understand, conduct, and promote HIA. Two awards of up to $15,000 each will be available to fund and support a state or territorial health agency to conduct a rapid HIA on a proposed project, program, or policy targeting transportation, land use, community design, parks and recreation, or energy.
