The USPTO Patent and Trademark Resource Center will present a seminar on the America Invents Act First Inventor to File provisions on October 9 from 1 - 5 p.m at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
While prosecuting patent applications according to the First Inventor to File (FITF) provisions since 2013, the USPTO discovered complications in the administrative processes, as well as a need for a better understanding of the FITF provisions. These seminars aim to resolve these difficulties by providing an opportunity for USPTO subject matter experts and stakeholders to discuss the FITF provisions and updates since its implementation.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required.
