Georgia Tech’s graduate supply chain programs have been ranked in the top five in the 2014 Gartner Top U.S. Supply Chain Graduate University rankings.  This year, Georgia Tech has reached number five moving up from the 2011 rankings, where the program placed 9th.

“We are happy that our supply chain graduate degree programs have been recognized for excellence,” said Alan Erera, ISyE’s associate chair for graduate studies and Coca-Cola Professor. “The top-ranked programs are primarily housed within business schools with long traditions of excellence in supply chain management and logistics.  Our engineering-based supply chain programs, such as our M.S. in Supply Chain Engineering, are a bit different in their focus on analytics and quantitative decision-making, and we are glad that they are rated high in value to industry.”

The Gartner Top U.S. Supply Chain Graduate University ranking’s data was gathered through surveys and interviews of industry and academia. Program performance was measured in part by curriculum breadth and depth, supply chain brand, program size, and applied work experience.
