The Knowles Science Teaching Foundation (KSTF) is currently seeking applicants for our Teaching Fellows Program—a comprehensive five-year professional development program designed to support early-career science and mathematics teachers. Eligible applicants should be committed to teaching science or mathematics in a secondary school in the U.S. (grades 9–12). For more information on eligibility, please visit here.
KSTF Teaching Fellows join a nationwide community of teacher educators and peers who are dedicated to improving STEM teaching and learning. Over the course of the program, Fellows receive stipends, funds for professional development, grants for teaching materials, and opportunities for leadership development and mentoring. To learn more about the benefits of the Fellowship, please visit here.
KSTF seeks to improve science and mathematics education by building a stable, sustainable cadre of networked leading teachers, who are trained and supported as leaders from the beginning of their careers. With an emphasis on inquiry and collaboration, the Teaching Fellows Program empowers participants to advance their teaching practice and student learning, while leading from the classroom.
The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. PST on October 29, 2014.
