This year's conference theme is Excellence in STEM: A Foundation for the Future. Sessions will be available for both professional development and enhancement, and feature concurrent oral and poster presentations from undergraduate and graduate student research. An exhibitor fair, which will include numerous graduate schools, government agencies, corporations, and businesses, will be on-site to recruit students and expose them to opportunities in their respective programs.
About LSAMP:
The goal of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is to significantly increase the number of underrepresented minority students who earn bachelor's degrees in the STEM disciplines and to encourage more degree recipients to pursue graduate studies in these fields. The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program at GA Tech is open to ALL students, who are enrolled full-time in the College of Sciences, College of Computing and the College of Engineering. However, students must meet the National Science Foundation's eligibility requirements in order to be funded through the program.
