Full Summary: The first group mentor lunch of the semester has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th at 12:00pm in Ferst Place. Dr. Newstetter from the department of biomedical engineering is excited to meet with those of you who can join her. All lunches are generously paid for by WST and Housing. The first group mentor lunch of the semester has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th at 12:00pm in Ferst Place. Dr. Newstetter from the department of biomedical engineering is excited to meet with those of you who can join her. All lunches are generously paid for by WST.

 

Dr. Newstetter’s work extends beyond her expertise in biomedical engineering. Her approach to and goals surrounding research could provide a lot of insight for anyone interested in cognition and learning, as well as designing educational environments that support integrative thinking and problem solving. To these ends, Dr. Newstetter works through Project Kaleidoscope to develop more effective educational environments informed learning and cognitive science research.
