Kathleen Goonan, a Visiting Professor in LMC and award-winning writer, wrote "Girl In Wave:Wave In Girl" about the future of education. 

The official book launch for HIEROGLYPH, which takes place in Washington, D.C., will include an author visit to the Keck Center of the National Academies of Science as well as a meeting with the White House Science and Technology Staff to discuss how some of the ideas in the anthology might be realized through government funding.
