Civilian unmanned aviation is becoming a reality everywhere, with significant economic potential; however the regulations that have achieved an outstanding safety record for traditional airport transportation have been perceived to be a significant factor behind the slow deployment of drones in the western world.

Open to the public, this workshop will bring together specialists from France and the U.S. to discuss their operational experience, technical advances, and relations to Air Navigation Service Providers.

This event is open to public, but space is limited. To register, email Eric Feron at eric.feron@aerospace.gatech.edu.

This event is part of France Atlanta, a partnership between French Consulate General and the Georgia Institute of Technology to develop an annual series of events centered on innovation and designed to foster cooperation between France and the U.S. Southeast in the scientific, business, cultural, and humanitarian domains.
