Everyone's A Target: Can NSA's Eavesdropping Be Reined In?

James Bamford

A History, Technology, & Society Speaker Series event, co-sponsored by the Sam Nunn-School of International Affairs

James Bamford is the best selling author of three books on the National Security Agency (NSA).  During the Vietnam War he served in the US Navy for three years as an intelligence specialist and was assigned to an NSA unit in Hawaii.  After receiving a law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, he decided to blow the whistle on the NSA when he discovered a program involving illegal eavesdropping on US citizens.
