The Journal of Development Studies accepted for publication a single-authored paper by Dr. Olga Shemyakina, entitled "Exploring the Impact of Conflict Exposure during Formative Years on Labor Market Outcomes in Tajikistan." The study finds that younger women in war-affected areas of Tajikistan were more likely to participate in the labor market than women from areas less affected by conflict.
