During summer visits to universities in Australia, David Sholl, chair of the Georgia Tech School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, gave a half-hour interview to the University of Melbourne for its “Up Close” online talk show.
Sholl spoke about using high-tech metal hydrides and metal-organic frameworks to increase nuclear power stations’ efficiency and to capture carbon dioxide emissions in coal-fired power plants.
“Up Close” is heard in 170 countries, and episodes are downloaded about 40,000 times per month, according to the website.
