Crash Course: Web Design

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Nov 11, 2014 - Wordpress, Joomla and other open source alternatives.

In this 90 minute workshop we will familiarize you with the software interface & discuss basic features.

The student should leave the workshop with a basic familiarity of how the software is set up.

Working with Text, links ,images and background layouts and themes are some of the basics covered.We will also discuss resources for discovering more information on open source web design alternatives.
