There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This session is a "crash course" on the US and Georgia Tech. During the first half of the session, International Student and Scholar Services will provide information on topics of interest to new students. Topics covered include: obtaining Georgia state driver's licenses, getting around on Atlanta public transportation, applying for a Social Security cards, opening bank accounts, and getting a cell phone. The second half of the session will be hosted by the Student Alumni Association (SSA). Members of SAA will present on the history of Georgia Tech and the university's traditions.
