Summaries

Summary Sentence: Mandatory session for J-1 students

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

Success at GA Tech is more than getting straight As.  In order to succeed while studying in the U.S, J-1 students need to comply with numerous immigration regulations. Violation of these regulations could greatly impact a student’s ability to succeed academically. All J1 students must attend one of these sessions which will be offered twice.  Students in attendance will learn about enrollment requirements, travel issues, working in the U.S. and other relevant J-1 topics.  For attendance purposes, students will be asked to present their GT identification card (Buzzcard) at the session.
