There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The COOP plan is designed to address the immediate aftermath, short-term and long-term (up to 30 days) with focus on continuing essential functions, which would become extremely important in the event of a catastrophic event that would disable their building for an extended time period.
This training will provide personnel with the background and template for building their own departmental continuity of operations plan (COOP).
Participants will learn how to conduct a hazard analysis, identify and prioritize departmental essential functions, including vital records, systems and equipment. Participants will also learn how to use GT Ready, a business continuity planning tool that is specific to institutions of higher education to increase the institution's ability to keep operating in the face of disruptive events. These 90 minute classes are limited to 15 people; you will need your GT computer username and password in the class. Departmental Business Managers, IT personnel and building managers are strongly encouraged to attend.
