Full Summary:

No summary paragraph submitted.

Gris-Gris, an online journal of literature, culture, and the arts, is housed at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA (down in the bayous and cane fields of South Louisiana).  It  publishes fiction, poetry, photography, and drama by both established and emerging writers and artists.

The editors see the gris-gris as a rich symbol of creative cultural borrowing and blending, an emblem of the unique mix of cultures that have shaped southern Louisiana. The gris-gris shares the root inspiration of the creative arts: the casting and the breaking of the spell.
