There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Donna Dean, Ph.D., will talk about research lab and non-lab position outside of academia, as well as the role of PhDs in federal government and science policy. Dean is currently a consultant at the Association for Women in Science and American Chemical Society. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry extensive experience as a federal executive, a practicing scientist, and as a government relations expert.
This event is open to ALL Georgia Tech and Emory graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty wishing to learn more about PhD career options.
