The School of Building Construction recently hosted the premier research conference for the construction engineering and management industries. Georgia Tech won the highly competitive bid to host the conference three years ago and has been planning the event ever since.  Over 340 attendees from six continents converged on Atlanta in late May for the event which featured 242 research paper presentations, a poster presentation session, and a banquet at the Georgia Aquarium. Georgia Tech provost Rafael Bras, School of Architecture professor Chuck Eastman and David Kimmel, president of the Georgia Aquarium delivered keynote addresses over the course of the week.
