There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia educators shared how they're integrating technology into their classrooms at the 2014 Educator Showcase. The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and IPaT hosted the event which attracted more than 60 educators (SEE: photos from the showcase).
They presented posters outlining their technology initiatives in the classroom. A panel discussion of school technology leaders focused on contemporary education and learning.
"Students are already very technology savvy," said Leigh McCook, IPaT Deputy Director. "It's a natural extension to bring this into the classroom and enhance learning in ways we have never done before." Hear more from McCook and Georgia educators by clicking the video below.
