Dr. Brian Woodall represented Georgia Tech at a US-Japan academia-industry research collaboration forum sponsored by Kobe University. The event brought together representatives from Yale University, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia University, University of Southern California, University of Houston, Texas A&M, Brown University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Kobe University is one of Japan’s top institutions of higher learning, and it is located in the greater Ōsaka metropolitan area. In May, a professor from Kobe University will visit Georgia Tech to explore the possibilities of collaboration with faculty and students in the Ivan Allen College and other units.
