Jack Clark, Senior Vice President, Chief Technical Officer for Atlanta-based aluminum manufacturer Novelis, Inc. presents this lecture focused on fostering innovation. The lecture will address current trends in the manufacturing industry, sustainability challenges and opportunities, and new innovations that are helping to address social, economic and environmental challenges. This lecture is part of the Institute for Materials' Innovation Lecture Series. 

Mr. Clark was named Novelis' Senior Vice President, Chief Technical Officer in 2012. Bringing more than 30 years of industry experience, Clark leads a team that is responsible for delivering world-class performance in operations, engineering, research and development, and environment, health and safety. His mission is to drive the Novelis strategy of innovation, technology and engineering excellence in products and processes.

He previously served as Vice President, Operational Excellence at Novelis. Prior to joining Novelis in 2010, Mr. Clark held roles of increasing responsibility at Alcoa Inc. in North America, Europe and Asia concluding with his role as Vice President of Operations for Alcoa China Rolled Products.

Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.

Atlanta-based Novelis Inc., is the world's largest aluminum products manufacturer and recycler.
