"Friday Night on the Flats," an evening of fan-friendly festivities surrounding Georgia Tech's annual spring football game, is set for April 18th at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Pre-game activities begin at 5 p.m. with Wreckfest, vendors, inflatables, food trucks and a pre-game concert on the Rock 100.5 Stage from Reuben's Bell, Atlanta's own southern rock band.
The spring game kicks off at 7 p.m. inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. ESPN3 will broadcast the game with Brandon Gaudin (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (color analysis) and Sean Bedford (sidelines) calling the action. The spring game is typically four quarters with a shortened halftime and a running clock at some point in the second half.
A fireworks show inside the stadium will immediately follow the game. Fans sitting in the north end zone will need to relocate to other sections. Fans will be allowed on the field for the postgame fireworks.
There is no charge for admission to any of the events.
