There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. 4/15/2014: Safety Abroad, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Be informed about safety issues.  Learn to what and who to avoid, and common sense steps to make your travel enjoyable and safe.

5/22/2014: What Is In Your Building: Hazards Awareness, 9:30 am - 10:15 am

Short course that provides attendees with a basic understanding of chemical, radiological, biological and physical hazards on campus.

5/22/2014: See Something, Say Something, 10:15 am - 11:30 am

Participants will review pre-incident indicators, potential targets, threat tactics and prevention strategies. Learn how to identify suspicious situations and who to report them to.

The Emergency Preparedness certificate is open to everyone in the Georgia Tech Community.  It will equip participants will tools they need in the event of a campus emergency.  Participants will also be exposed to valuable information in the areas of crisis management and disaster prevention.  The program consists of 5 required class and 2 electives.
